DMC Rail
Closely linked to DMC wall and floor tiling, DMC Stoneage Restoration and DMC steel work engineering, DMC Rail was formed to cater for all renovation works to walls and floors in ticket halls and retail areas, stairs and platforms and associated works on the London Underground and Network Rail.
All fixing teams are committed to Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices on site and we ensure that all operatives hold the necessary skills and certificates of competence to perform the job within strict working parameters.
The type of work DMC Rail carry out includes the following:
- Removal of existing and replacement of Heritage tiles to ticket halls and platforms.
- Removal and replacement of terrazzo tiles to ticket halls and platforms.
- Removal and replacement of ceramic tiles, faience blocks to interior and exterior facades.
- Replacement and repairs to terrazzo. Installers of ATTi specialist stair nosings.
- Floor grinding and polishing to platforms and ticket halls.
- Preparation of glazed bricks to receive ceramics.
- Repairs to damaged slabs and tiles to walls and floors.
- Patchwork repairs to tiling
- Site surveys and reports.
- Fully dimensioned elevation and photographic drawings.
- Supply and fix bespoke nosings and copings.
- Supply and fix tactiles.
DMC Rail plays a major part in renovation of our Underground system - all in keeping with English Heritage guidelines when required.
