Stoneage Restoration
The restoration division of DMC Group, StoneAge Restoration is committed to the conservation of historic buildings and specialise in cleaning and matching existing brick and stone work materials to most type of external buildings of interest.
Work ranges from such projects as the Grace Gate at Lords Cricket ground, the abrasive cleaning of large conservation properties in Kensington through to specialist internal and external faience work to various stations on the London Underground network - quite often working within the strict guidelines of English Heritage.
Type of works carried out by StoneAge Restoration include:
- Specialist cleaning works to natural stone, brick, terracotta, faience, marble, concrete and granite. Cleaning methods include nebulous water cleaning, Jos cleaning, abrasive cleaning and chemical cleaning.
- Brick and stone repair replacement. Plastic repairs to brick and stone to match surrounding areas. Brick and stone replacements as required to match existing as near as possible.
- Supply and installation of new natural stone copings, cills, window surrounds and bespoke architectural features.
- Supply and installation of precast stone.
- Repointing of both brick and stone work, including flush, weatherstruck and tuck pointing.
