Conor has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, with his early career spent as a sales person for McGrath Engineering, later progressing to Director within the company, negotiating high profile contracts, such as the Olympic Stadium, The Aquatics Centre and Kings Cross Northern Ticket Hall.
Conor joined DMC as Business Development Director in 2011 and has been instrumental in developing DMC within their existing market, but also broadening the markets within which we now operate. Conor’s next challenge is to develop the soft floor arm of DMC, DMC Flooring Specialists. A new team has been brought in to deliver these projects and Conor’s aim is to establish DMC Flooring Specialists within the industry in the same way DMC Contracts has been.
Outside of work Conor is very much focussed on his family and travel, particularly travel when food is involved.
Conor’s demeanour and can-do attitude ensures potential clients are well looked after, he has the right resources at his fingertips to be able to provide design proposals, value engineering options and programming solutions to enable the client’s project goals are realised. Conor’s pragmatic approach ensures the client is confident when awarding projects to DMC that all bases are covered and that DMC will deliver what we said we would, post-contract. Conor is involved throughout the tender process, overseeing the estimating department’s progress in putting together a professional tender, to ensure a single point of contact for potential clients, providing them with high quality customer service and reassurance that their tender will receive the requisite level of attention necessary to lead to a successful project delivery.
